I'm an Electronics & Telecom student at VJTI in Mumbai, but most of my actual hours go into machine learning projects that have nothing to do with the syllabus.

I don't trust that I understand something until I've rebuilt it myself. That's why I followed Karpathy's Zero to Hero series and wrote a GPT from scratch to generate Harry Potter text instead of just fine-tuning one, and why I trained PPO agents in Unity ML-Agents to drive a kart around a track instead of reading about reinforcement learning. Same reason PawVision and the MNIST recognizer exist, both problems a pretrained model would've solved in five minutes.

Right now I'm building Skrolla, a book discovery app that scrolls like a feed but recommends with embeddings instead of tags. The blog is where I write about whatever breaks while I'm building any of this.
